Labor Market Administrator at Lerum Municipality
Lerum Municipality is known for its scenic locations with lakes and forests. The municipality has 3,200 employees and 43,000 residents but expects to grow significantly in the coming years. Lerum is only a 20-minute commute from Gothenburg and is currently facing a development-intensive period with many exciting projects underway, ranging from schools to housing. The Labor Market Unit is an executing unit with assignments from Lerum's social assistance as well as assignments from the Employment Agency, the Social Insurance Agency, and the Västra Götaland Region.
We are now looking for a new colleague, welcome to join us as a Labor Market Administrator!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a Labor Market Administrator in Lerum, you will work closely with individuals whose conditions for reaching the labor market or an education need to be clarified. The job includes planning and organizing labor market orientation and investigating work capacity (practical performances) to support individuals in approaching self-sufficiency.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues in the unit but have your own cases and carry out individual development and educational initiatives as well as other competence-enhancing and supportive measures.
Our target groups vary, and part of the work involves individuals with unassessed work capacity where the possibility of work or education needs to be investigated. This work may also include gathering documentation for investigations regarding partial or full disability benefits.
As a Labor Market Administrator, you will be part of a referral team where assignments are distributed across the unit and from various referrers. The team also includes parts of the remaining staff in the labor market unit.
The goal of the operation is to provide every individual who comes into contact with the unit knowledge and understanding of how the labor market works and what requirements are placed on the individual employee in the regular labor market. We work to give the individual an understanding of what needs to be developed and what considerations need to be taken into account for progression towards work to occur. Documenting and compiling materials for the commissioning authority and healthcare is also part of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has completed at least 180 credits from the social work program, behavioral science line, or social pedagogy. We expect you to have work experience from similar assignments and experience working with individuals with mental health issues and dependency problems.
To succeed in this role, it is important to have a good understanding of the labor market and employers, experience with subsidized employment forms, and knowledge of compiling investigations in written documentation.
You also need to have the ability to contact employers for joint planning regarding individual cases such as internships or similar.
If you have previously worked with individuals with disabilities or those in social difficulties, this is highly meritorious. Experience from working with the Social Insurance Agency and the Employment Agency is also meritorious.
The position requires good collaboration between internal and external parties, and we therefore see that you are pedagogical and good at engaging and motivating others.
Experience with the operational system Treserva.
A valid driver's license (B) is required.
